IMPORTANT RULES CHANGE: Project Rolls

Chaosxtreme, LittleH13, and I have extensively tested sending die rolls via PM and have now concluded that the forums DO/DO return consistent results to all adressees on the message.

What does this mean for Flashpoint?

Effective immediately, faction leaders may roll their own project success checks.

PROCEDURE
Each turn, Flashpoint faction leaders will send a PM to myself and LittleH13 containing their project success checks. This should include projects that succeed on a "1+" roll, since there may be other modifiers in play for the turn.

Each roll should be clearly labelled, for example:

Fortify Hex, 2525 Terra (with +1 for Siege Expert VIP ability)
[ roll ]1d6+1[ /roll ]

Any contingent abilities should be noted, along with preferences for their application. Example:

Research Facility on 2525 Terra will use its +2 to help science projects unless there is a negative event to cancel with it. Top priority goes to the Detox World project on Liao, followed by the other projects in order of how expensive they are.

If preferences aren't given, the GMs will apply contingent bonuses based on our own judgement (we'll try to maximize their economic and/or RP value of course).

The GMs (either myself or H13) will respond either confirming your results or notifying you of modifications due to random events and/or enemy espionage.




Please send your project PMs for Turn 4 ASAP, as it will speed GM processing (which has been delayed by VIP Rules development, the FC62 Wiki archival project, and non-game real life "fun")
