A trio of warships jumped into the Anteres system and began deploying dropships and fighters. Aboard the Wild Swan, the sensor officer presented himself to his commander. "Star Commodore, we have not received confirmation of the arrival of the Bonaventure or the Hinda Shu and there is no word from them either." Star Commodore Pavil didn't bother checking the instruments, "Then three ships will have to be enough. I want confirmation on all contacts and notify me when the rest show up. We will have to assume Vasili is not coming."

Initiative required for all forces

Clan Snow Raven
This dice roll has been tampered with!
Rolled 2d6 : 1, 2, total 3

Iron Mongoose

Camels:

[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 6, 6, total 12[/blockquote]

Marlin

(OP, I thought it was a combined op? As such, the Hellions are under orders of the Ravens)

Iron Mongoose

It is combined, but I think we still have to get there on our own.  Or not.  I'm not really sure how anythin works these days.

Fed Suns Initiative

[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 2, 6, total 8[/blockquote]

(I only promised to clear the space above. If you want to combine for coordinated jump into system, it would explain the delay :P)

Marlin

(OP High init is good, you are first, however, when combined attack, then all forces are as one. As all should have no problems with interdiction (Clan Warships) there would therefore be one Init roll as well. But we can leave it to the GMs of course too)

chanman

No Lyran forces in-system. Also, I think you made a typo in the planet name.

Fatebringer

In that case Fed Suns forces make to leave the system. Do the Camels move to Interdict?

Iron Mongoose

Camel orders place some forces on blockade orders, and others on offensive interdiction orders.  If the Fed Sun forces run at the sight of the Camels alone, however, we will alow them to pass.  If they run only after other Clans arive, then we will act in accordingly.

Fatebringer

They attempt to depart the system at the first opportunity (On thier Init)

Iron Mongoose

And it was determined that we're all rolling on our own, yes?  If so, do we need to see a hellion roll as well, so that we can see if both the Camels and Hellions have the oppertunity to oppose this?

Fatebringer

From what I've seen in this thread so far, it looks like the Hellions arived with the Ravens, but the Camels arrived before we did. No one asked us for a coordinated attack so we made our initiative roll seperate. Since the Hellions claimed they wanted to coordinate, I'll accept that.

Iron Mongoose

Sounds good to me.  If the FedRats want to run, let them run.

Though, and I want to be very clear that I'm not accusing your or anyone else of anything and I truely thing that you're doing what you think is in the best intrest of the faction, I'd be intrested to see some RP as to why the FedSuns are running from the same force that they were prepaired to face down last turn.

Plus, can you run through enemy terratory?  It looks like the world is surrounded by Clan held hexes.

Fatebringer

Aff, they will require a hostile territory movement to reach their destination. As far as the "Running", we like to call it Strategic Repositioning.  ;)

The Clan Front very much a battle where forces are constantly jockeying for position, where the Clans were using Giant Mallets to smash down any smaller Warship groups. When the clanners showed up, Vice Admiral Mary-Kate Udaloy and her Battle Group were already behind schedule.

"Contact Admiral!" Kate took a deep sigh in, "Status of the Jump Sail retrieval?" A crewmember called out four minutes, after wich her Executive Officer spoke up, "Nearly complete Ma'am" Kate looked around the bridge for a quick second to see if anyone was slacking off. Satisfied that everyone was working their butts off she leaned back in her chair. "Will it be done before they get to us?" Her number two had moved to the holotank.
"Aye Ma'am, but it it's a race we're after, they'd beat us to the next jump point." Kate looked out the viewport. "Irrelavent, do we have identification on them yet?"  As she asked the question it was like the Holotank heard and was responding. "It looks like the same Texas as before, you know the one with the Camel."

Kate gritted her teeth, the thought of the Fox being chased by a camel may have made for some nice Saturday morning Kidvid, but the comparison was symbolically depressing. The XO echoed the crewman anouncing the sails were packed. Kate sat back in her chair, "We have someplace to be, lets get there. All hands to battle stations! Comms!" the light on her chair went to green. "All ships, this is Vice Admiral Mary-Kate Udaloy. Commence movement in force to the Lagrange. Keep your escorts close, we'll see how aggressive this Camel's gonna be." Kate let go of the button on her chair and watched intently.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the last ship reached the La Grange point, the fighters and dropships made hasty landing procedures. As they prepped for jump Kate walked over to the viewport, and began talking at the space outside. "I wish we had time to dance Mr. Camel, but by the unfinished book, you left here, and I have no misgivings that you were not going to come back alone...could I have been wrong? Where are your friends Mr. Camel?"

Minutes later the three ships departed the sytem.
