Several Hexes are hit by Recon Raids:

Mississauga

New Exford

Jesenice

Kwanchowwang

Mahone

Santana

chanman

Are these units that have failed their pirate insertion rolls and need a response, or...?

Marlin

They did not roll yet, but I will do so shortly.
Which means right now:

Mississauga
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 1, 2, total 3[/blockquote]

New Exford
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 6, 1, total 7[/blockquote]

Jesenice
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 1, 4, total 5[/blockquote]

Kwanchowwang
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 5, 1, total 6[/blockquote]

Mahone
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 3, 4, total 7[/blockquote]

Santana
[blockquote]Rolled 2d6 : 2, 3, total 5[/blockquote]

Oh man.. some really only can use brute force. :P

Any reaction by the defenders?

Marlin

Star Commander Hilda shook her head in disbelief. The other Union was gone! The Star Captain, gone!! This endeavour was doomed. No way the Lyrans would not register this. And this over this cursed world!

"Damage report!" she barked. They were lucky to live, that was obvious. And perhaps they could even jump away from this terrible dirtball, cursed by those dishonorable Drac scum that had killed her friend Cass, herself a Star Commander.

OP: Will there anywhere be aero forces to attack? If not, I might think of landing, actually..

No reaction from the defenders at any hex.

OOC: If you don't chase him off, he gets the intel despite the misjump.  Unless the rules have changed of course ;)

Fatebringer

Without an Interdicing force, units land and Raid Defense rolls are run by the Defender.

Marlin

Ah. Cool. Thanks Fate. :)

So, Chanman, thats now your part or whoever else is LYran.
How about YOU! Yes, I mean you, Cannonshop. ;)

Anyway, thats a good chance for MM of my preferred size, so, I would like it.

Cannonshop

Jessenice is a mess when you (and the Adders) arrive-they were hit by a sizeable bandit force sometime a week prior-and the bandits left one hell of a mess, Assuming the CIH troops land, they find lots of dead local militia and Kowloonese relief workers (armed), scattered in ruined cities, and evidence of a large, 'mech armed bandit force that had done...things to the ones out in the open (both locals and relief personnel).  Horrible things.

A careful sweep finds a single disaster-bunker that had managed to remain unbreached, covered in a pile of bodies and rubble.  Within the bunker, terrorized and terrified civilians, mostly women and children.

Unlike the other, broken-open raid shelters, these had survived because of a faulty beacon, one that had failed to activate, and the efforts of the dead men outside.  The arrival of the Clan forces had clearly interrupted the attackers and frightened them off, but there are no living defenders to find.

some of the corpses on the ground, were partially eaten-knawed on by what appear to be human teeth...

Marlin

If the other worlds do not contain anything like that.. horrible, I would need your rolls (or descriptions if applicable). Jesenice is thus complete for my part. I even wrote a bit of RP. :)

Mississauga: 0.75 FP

New Exford: 1.5 FP

Jesenice: 1.5 FP

Kwanchowwang: 1.5 FP

Mahone: 2 FP

Santana: 2 FP

For you to determine the strength of the defenders.

Jesenice I say would count as done? Or would I still have to deal with Militia?

No live ones.  I suppose the Hellions might dig and poke around a bit to figure out what the hell happened, maybe try to interview survivors or dig up data on what hit the planet, how big and who smashed what little defense was there, and, y'know, all that strategic-recon shit..I don't see a Hellion RECONAISSANCE force NOT trying to figure out why it was that their recon raid hit AFTER someone else (Someone NOT Clan) came in, tore the place up, killed the defenders and a chunk of hte population, dropped rocks on some areas, and generally fucked shit up, then left.  Whoever did this may be a threat, or may need a Clan-style "Spanking" for the kind of horror and waste your ground teams found.

Marlin

We are speaking just of Jesenice? Were there not any media broadcasts? Actuall, yes, I guess they would try to dig up easily accessible data, but they wont hang around so much.

Would you roll for the other planets the defense rolls then?

Still data-digging and trying to figure out how the mechanical side of this game works, if Chanman doesn't handle it, I'll give it a shot.  (Gotta learn sometime...)
