Responding to an upswing of piracy in the Tortuga region, the 1st Filtvelt Chasseurs find themselves scrambling to stave off a full-scale invasion. All of the systems in the Tortuga region came under attack in late 3091, but the decisive battle was fought at New Haiti.

Attacker

The attacker are a coalition of pirate gangs intent on kicking the Federated Suns out its periphery holdings. The attackers utilize a mix of Free Worlds League and Taurian equipment and have 125% the FP/BV of the defender (see below).


Defender

The defender consists of elements of the 1st Filvelt Chasseurs, a Regular RCT. In MegaMek, the defender may build a combined-arms force to their preferences; the attacker will then construct their force to balance agains the FS battle value. In simple resolution, the FS force is 10.00 FP and the pirates will have 12.50 FP.


Scoring

In Simple Resolution, standard invasion rules apply (first to win three simple resolution rolls wins)

In MegaMek, each side earns a number of points equal to the percentage of enemy BV destroyed.

• If the winner's score is no more than 24% above the loser's, the battle is a draw
• If the winner's score is 25-49% above the loser's, that side wins a marginal victory
• If the winner's score is 50% or more above the loser's, that side wins a decisive victory
